Posture therapy in Beverly Grove, Los Angeles

Our central LA clinic. One-to-one posture therapy that works on the alignment underneath your pain, not just the spot that hurts.

The clinic

Central LA, without the Westside drive

Beverly Grove opened so clients across central Los Angeles and the Westside would not have to cross town for a weekly session. Same therapist, same assessment, same program as Santa Monica.

Every program starts with a full postural assessment — photographs from the front, side and back, plus functional tests showing which muscles have stopped doing their job and which have taken over. You see the same picture we see.

How the process works · About the IMPACT program

Who comes to us

Who we work with in central LA

Desk workers and creatives

Long hours at a screen or an edit bay — neck, shoulder and lower back pain that builds through the week.

Performers and dancers

Bodies asked to do a lot, where one-sided load turns into a recurring injury.

Over-50s who want to stay active

Balance, stiffness and the sense that things are narrowing. Usually reversible, and worth addressing early.

People weighing up surgery

Worth exhausting conservative options first. We will tell you honestly if we do not think we can help.

What people come to us for in central LA

Most people arrive with something specific that keeps coming back. Lower back pain that flares after long hours at a screen or an edit bay. Neck and shoulder tension that has built by midweek. A hip or knee that has been managed for years rather than resolved. Plantar fasciitis that improved and returned. Headaches that start at the base of the skull. Performers and dancers more often bring one-sided load that has turned into a recurring injury.

We don’t sort those into separate treatment tracks. The assessment looks at how your whole structure is loading, because one misaligned hip can show up as lower back pain in one person and a sore shoulder in another. What we’re after is the pattern underneath the symptom.

Most clients come from Beverly Grove, West Hollywood, Mid-Wilshire, Beverly Hills and Hancock Park — central enough to reach without the Westside drive. If you’ve been looking for a posture specialist nearby and aren’t sure this is the right kind of help, the free consultation is a thirty-minute way to find out.

Getting started

Three steps, no mystery

01  A conversation and an assessment

One free session, thirty minutes. You describe what is going on and we analyze how you are actually standing and moving.

02  Your own sequence

A program built around your alignment rather than a general routine, adjusted as your body changes.

03  Keeping it going

As your alignment improves, the work evolves, from correcting patterns to building habits that support them. Some people keep regular sessions; others check in now and then and carry the practice forward themselves.

Common questions

Questions from central LA clients

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book a free consultation directly, and most clients come to us without a referral. If you are under the care of a doctor or physical therapist for the same issue, tell us and we will work alongside them.

How is this different from physical therapy?

Physical therapy usually treats a diagnosed injury or the area that hurts. We assess the whole body and work on the alignment and muscle imbalances producing the load — which is often somewhere other than the painful spot. Many clients do both, and we are happy to coordinate.

What happens at the free consultation?

Thirty minutes. You describe what is going on, we take posture photographs and run functional tests, and you see the same picture we do. There is nothing to decide on the call, and if we do not think posture therapy is the right answer we will say so.

How long does a program take?

Programs run in blocks of eight or sixteen sessions, usually one a week at the start, with twenty to forty minutes of exercises a day at home. Change happens at different rates for different people, so we do not promise a timeline.

Do you take insurance?

We are a self-pay practice. Many clients use HSA or FSA funds — you can check whether you qualify through TrueMed.

Which LA clinic should I choose?

Pick by commute rather than distance. Beverly Grove is easier from West Hollywood, Mid-City, Hancock Park and Beverly Hills; Santa Monica suits Venice, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades and Culver City. The therapist and the program are the same at both.
