Posture therapy in Gloucester, MA
Our North Shore travel clinic. The same one-to-one posture therapy as our Newton clinic, working on the alignment underneath your pain, not just the spot that hurts.

The clinic
A travel clinic on the North Shore
Gloucester runs on set days rather than daily, so appointments here book further ahead than at Newton. If the timing does not work, our Newton clinic runs a full schedule and the same program runs over Zoom.
Every program starts with a full postural assessment — photographs from the front, side and back, plus functional tests showing which muscles have stopped doing their job and which have taken over. You see the same picture we see.
Who comes to us
Who we work with in Gloucester
People on the North Shore
Cape Ann, Rockport, Manchester and Essex — close enough that a Newton trip is not worth it for a weekly session.
Over-50s who want to stay active
Balance, stiffness and the sense that things are narrowing. Usually reversible, and worth addressing early.
Working on your feet
Trades, healthcare and hospitality — standing all day loads the back and hips in ways sitting does not.
People weighing up surgery
Worth exhausting conservative options first. We will tell you honestly if we do not think we can help.

Getting started
Three steps, no mystery
01 A conversation and an assessment
One free session, thirty minutes. You describe what is going on and we analyze how you are actually standing and moving.
02 Your own sequence
A program built around your alignment rather than a general routine, adjusted as your body changes.
03 Holding on to it
Once you are aligned, the work shifts from correcting to maintaining. Some keep a session in the calendar; others take it from there.

Common questions
Questions from North Shore clients
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book a free consultation directly, and most clients come to us without a referral. If you are under the care of a doctor or physical therapist for the same issue, tell us and we will work alongside them.
How is this different from physical therapy?
Physical therapy usually treats a diagnosed injury or the area that hurts. We assess the whole body and work on the alignment and muscle imbalances producing the load — which is often somewhere other than the painful spot. Many clients do both, and we are happy to coordinate.
What happens at the free consultation?
Thirty minutes. You describe what is going on, we take posture photographs and run functional tests, and you see the same picture we do. There is nothing to decide on the call, and if we do not think posture therapy is the right answer we will say so.
How long does a program take?
Programs run in blocks of eight or sixteen sessions, usually one a week at the start, with twenty to forty minutes of exercises a day at home. Change happens at different rates for different people, so we do not promise a timeline.
Do you take insurance?
We are a self-pay practice. Many clients use HSA or FSA funds — you can check whether you qualify through TrueMed.
Which days are you in Gloucester?
