Meet Our Team

Clinic Director & Exercise Therapist

Hi! I’m Elisa and I’m the Clinic Director at Activ8 Posture Los Angeles.
My journey to becoming a Corrective Exercise Therapist began in High School. When I was thinking about what career path I wanted to pursue, all I knew was that I wanted to help people feel better, but I didn’t quite know how. I played basketball and was soon introduced to our school’s Athletic Trainer (shoutout to Mr. White at Culver City High School!) who encouraged me to take his Sports Medicine class. I immediately fell in love with the idea of helping people move better so they could perform at their highest level!
I went on to complete my degree at Long Beach State University in Kinesiology, emphasis in Athletic Training and became a BOC certified Athletic Trainer. I gained experience working with athletes of all ages: high school, community college, and Division I Track & Field and Football at UCLA. I also worked with the everyday person as an Industrial Athletic Trainer for the Injury Prevention Program at the Disneyland Resort.
In my traditional education I felt like there was a missing piece. I found that missing piece when I met the team at Activ8 Posture. The whole-body approach linked everything I had learned together for me and allowed me to provide more sustainable, long-term solutions for my clients. I love getting to know each and every one of my clients and watch them not only relieve pain but exceed their physical & mental limitations that have been holding them back!
When I’m not working with clients you can find me playing basketball with my husband and close friends or hanging out with my very big family, including all the dogs! I love living in L.A. and will take any opportunity to get outdoors - the beach, hiking, or finding new neighborhoods with hidden stairs. And I’m absolutely rooting for all the best LA teams! Let’s go Lakers, Dodgers, Rams and UCLA!
A quote that keeps me going:
