Miranda Terra

Exercise Therapist

In the past years of doing posture therapy, Miranda has found it rewarding to help people overcome their pain, improve posture, and help them perform better in their activities. Prior to doing posture-corrective exercises with clients, she was a personal trainer and rehab aide in both cardiac and chiropractic clinical settings.

Miranda received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science from Colby-Sawyer College and she holds a personal training certification from the International Sports Science Association.

While doing personal training and exercise rehabilitation prior to working with Activ8 Posture, Miranda noticed that symptom-focused treatments did not provide long-term results in many cases. Instead, she noticed that clients and patients who suffered from various pain conditions (e.g. hip pain, back pain, neck pain, etc.) had patterns of musculoskeletal dysfunction at the root of their issues..

When Miranda’s not in the clinic helping people get out of pain and feeling better, she enjoys going to the gym, walking & playing with her dogs, reading about the latest in rehab and nutrition, or spending time with her friends and family.

“I believe that a lot of common symptoms can be treated without medications, injections, surgeries, or outside aides. This is why I’m passionate about working in this field and helping people learn the power of exercise and taking care of their body – naturally and holistically.”
